What charity would you like to nominate?

EAT UP


Why have you chosen this charity?

In my work I often see students come to school with no food for lunch for a variety of reasons. On many occasions I have also made lunch for students that have had no food. Having fuel each day is vital for students in their learning, being able to actively function as a member of the community but also feel valued and cared for.  


Why is CrossFit your preferred method of training? 

It’s constantly varied and there is always something new to learn or improve on. 


Tell us what you enjoy most about training at NthSide?

The coaches and the community. Tommie and Josh are always willing to take the time to explain or assist in coaching movements and modifying the exercises is never a hassle. I really enjoy getting out of bed to go to the 6am class and look forward to lifting with the people who attend.


BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT OR SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?

In my day job I teach food studies and fashion to years 7-12.
